This Back to School Season, We’re Giving Back!
As we get ready to go back to school, we at Emerge are committed to giving back to our communities, both locally and globally.
From now through Sunday, August 9th, which will be Giving Back Sunday at Emerge Church, we're coming together to bless students, teachers, and families both locally and around the world as part of our Back to School Blessing Giving Back outreach campaign for 2026. Let’s flood the church with food donations, $20 Publix gift cards, purchases for our CarePoint through our Amazon Wish List, and financial donations to help us meet our goal of collecting $6,000 to make everything you are about to read about below happen! Here's how we are planning to give back and be a blessing to our community and beyond as we start this school year!
🍎 Bless Lincoln High School
On August 11, we'll provide a special Back-to-School Lunch for the teachers, staff, and administrators at Lincoln High School to encourage them as they begin a new school year.
🛒 Support Roberts Elementary
We're collecting $20 Publix Gift Cards for Roberts Elementary School's Pantry, helping them provide students in need with food and household essentials. Goal: $1,000 in Publix Gift Cards.
🥫 Stock the Pantry
Help support Second Harvest of the Big Bend's Stock School Pantry Shelves Food Drive by donating nonperishable food items (no glass containers). Donations will be collected during Sunday worship services, as well as in Rise Kids, and at Surge through August 9th.

🎒 Help Fill a Backpack. Show the kids at our CarePoint some LOVE!
Our Rise Kids and Surge Students are partnering with Children's Cup's Friend to Friend Supply Chain to provide 65 backpacks filled with school supplies, small gifts and notes of encouragement for kids at our CarePoint in Santa Rosa, Dominican Republic. Rise Kids and Surge Students will be stuffing backpacks on Sunday, August 9th as part of our Giving Back Day!
How You Can Give
Donate nonperishable food items (no glass containers) through August 9th in the boxes in the lobby. See list of items needed above.
Either bring a $20 Publix gift card or give towards the purchase of Publix Gift Cards for Roberts Elementary's school pantry.
Purchase backpack supplies through our Amazon Wish List.
Make a financial donation towards our $6,000 goal to help cover lunch for 110 educators at Lincoln High School, to help purchase backpacks, school supplies, Publix gift cards and support all of these outreach efforts.
