SURGE STUDENTS!!! WE ARE GOING TO MOTION 2021 IN BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA JULY 29TH-31ST!!!!!

Hey SURGE STUDENTS and SURGE PARENTS!!! We are taking it on the road this summer to the 2021 Motion Student Conference July 29-31 in Birmingham, Alabama!!  We will be departing from the Emerge Annex (1989 Capital Circle NE, Suite 10) on Thursday, July 29th at 8:30AM and we will return on Saturday night, July 31st around 11PM.  To learn more about the Motion Student Conference go to this link

• The cost for the conference is $250. A $35 deposit is required to hold your spot for the conference and the remaining balance is due by June 29th. This covers the conference registration fee, transportation via charter bus, and hotel accommodations. Boxed meals will be provided at the conference for lunch and dinner on Friday, July 30 and lunch on Saturday, July 31st. Surge Students will need to bring money for lunch and dinner on July 29th and dinner on July 31st. The hotel we are staying at provides a free breakfast.
  
  
  
  
  

• Parents will be emailed liability release forms to fill out and sign after online registration is complete. Those can be turned in at the Connect Desk at church on Sunday or at Surge on Sunday evenings. All forms will be due by July 25th.
  
  
  
  
  

• We will send out a trip information sheet to everyone registered with a full itinerary, trip contact information, what to bring, and much more in early July.

WHAT IS MOTION
MOTION is a local church student conference that is founded on the belief that our faith is not meant to be idle, hidden, or contained but instead lived out in MOTION in Christ!

In 2009, God laid a vision on the heart of our local church student ministry team to bring youth groups and their leaders together from all over the southeast for one weekend. The vision for the weekend was simply this: worship, prayer, and focused teaching on one thing- this generation putting their faith into MOTION. Based on the truth of Ephesians 2:10, it is our desire to see students' lives transformed by the presence of God and doing the good works He planned for them long ago.

MOTION is more than a conference. It’s more than bands and speakers. MOTION is about a generation empowered by Jesus, equipped to make a difference, and living out their faith every day!

MOTION 2021
Now in its thirteenth year, MOTION 2021 will be unlike any we have seen before. We are excited for the opportunity to gather students and their leaders from around the country, safely distanced, in-person together in Birmingham, Alabama.

At MOTION 2021, we are going to experience Jesus - By All Means! It is our prayer that students and youth leaders leave the conference refreshed, equipped, and inspired to live their lives in MOTION at home, in the local church, in their cities, and around the world.
